The Woodstock Sessions are back
After the success of last season, and a Phizzfest 2013 launch with live Arena broadcast, we’re back with another series of funky Thursday evening sessions with great food and laid back live music by talented singer songwriters such as:
Cat Dowling – Thursday 23 May
Davina Brady – Friday 7 June
Keith Moss – Friday 21 June
SJ McArdle – Friday 5 July
Deetrich – Friday 19 July
Stewart Agnew – Friday 9 August
… and coming up in September, Ciara Sidine and Red Queen Contest … watch this space!
Booking is strongly advised! Music starts at 9pm, get there before 8.30pm for dinner. The ‘Gig Deal’ is two courses for two people with a bottle of wine for €60, or two courses and a glass of wine for one person for €25.
Woodstock was established in 1993, a home for down-to-earth food at the heart of crazy, cultured, historic Phibsborough. Deli, bakery, carvery, wine bar, and now makers of the best pizzas in Dublin (so we’re told!) Woodstock is the repose of locals, worker bees and passers-through in search of a good feed and a catch up. Famous for its atmosphere, Woodstock is open seven days a week for slap-up breakfasts, home-made cakes, hearty mains, wholesome salads, wines by the glass, leaf tea and barista-made coffee.
Little ‘ol Woodstock recently had a makeover and we stripped the restaurant back to better reflect its relaxed functionality: exposed beams, a polished concrete floor, lots of stainless steel and blackboards to tell you about what’s cooking since the menu changes every day. We’ve also added a wine bar, some kitchen tables and leather chairs to make Woodstock the perfect place to share a meal, a cuppa or a glass of wine with friends.
